Established Fall 1988 is much more than the name of this site. Established Fall 1988 is a phrase that represents the basic idea of my personal philosophy: “My Brand. My Business. My Life.” I view my self as an entity or an organization with different dimensions and levels of operation.
My Brand is everything I represent. It is how I carry myself. My Brand is how I act and react. I am in control of my personal brand. I do not have control of how someone else interprets what they see. But I do have control of the image I put out there. It is my responsibility to be authentic and let my true self mold the perception of others.
My Business is everything I create. I have some unique thoughts on the value of time. Anything that I feel is worth putting my time into is a business affair. Business dealings are viewed as top priority. I include everything of importance into this category from my academic career to my community service activities. It is my personal oath to maintain the highest level of professionalism in all I do.
My Life is everything I experience. Life is all about the makes and mistakes you experience. This is the easiest part because I am committed to living as long as the opportunity exist. It is less of a duty and more of a privilege.
