When searching for sites to feature in the Website Review, I try to discover those sites that prove to be a great resource for young professionals, like myself. I have been following this site for about four months and have been debating whether or not to feature it. But I came to the conclusion that RIVAFLOWZ.COM is a great resource for all, professional or not, who have love for good, thought-provoking content.
This is the first site I have featured where I don’t have a lot of background information on the author. But I figure that is because most of the people I have featured thus far were more about promoting themselves, which I am not saying is a bad thing. However Riva, the woman behind the words, seems to be more about expressing herself and showcasing her artistic gifts. I am talking about Riva’s poetry, photography, and commentary. Riva’s story of her support of freshman rapper Drake, definitely caught my eye but her poem, Matilda spoke all too well to my personal story.
RIVAFLOWZ.COM is a simple yet personal site: easy to navigate and appealing to the eye. The site features an outside blog each week and a book suggestion. The site’s subtitle, “For the Caffeine, Bookstore, Journal-Obsessed Androids” is truly befitting of this artistic lover’s site.
