Resourceful Website: A website designed to provide valuable (and insightful) information or valuable services to the public.

The key word is valuable. In the age of social networking there is so much information out there from self-proclaimed gurus and experts. But this guy, David King, actually knows a thing or two. David is the man behind the site DavidBeKing.com, a personal professional site offering valuable business information, tips for success, and inspirational advice.

David King, internet business consultant, conveys his desire to help others through his personal site. He has been through the ups and down of being an internet entrepreneur, and through this process he has found success and knowledge. David has dedicated this site to sharing what he has learned for free via DavidBeKing.com. And unlike most self-proclaimed gurus, you don’t get the feeling that David is trying to sell you something. You get the feeling he is just trying to offer lessons learned from his own experiences.

King has mastered the concept of video blogging. Every week, he sits down in front of the video camera and dishes out quality information live over the internet. The site itself is simple and easy to navigate. The information is easily accessiable. Website Review: RIVAFLOWZ.COM

When searching for sites to feature in the Website Review, I try to discover those sites that prove to be a great resource for young professionals, like myself. I have been following this site for about four months and have been debating whether or not to feature it. But I came to the conclusion that RIVAFLOWZ.COM is a great resource for all, professional or not, who have love for good, thought-provoking content.

RIVAFLOWZ

This is the first site I have featured where I don’t have a lot of background information on the author. But I figure that is because most of the people I have featured thus far were more about promoting themselves, which I am not saying is a bad thing. However Riva, the woman behind the words, seems to be more about expressing herself and showcasing her artistic gifts. I am talking about Riva’s poetry, photography, and commentary. Riva’s story of her support of freshman rapper Drake, definitely caught my eye but her poem, Matilda spoke all too well to my personal story.

RIVAFLOWZ.COM is a simple yet personal site: easy to navigate and appealing to the eye. The site features an outside blog each week and a book suggestion. The site’s subtitle, “For the Caffeine, Bookstore, Journal-Obsessed Androids” is truly befitting of this artistic lover’s site. My current love is business, but music will always be my first. Choosing the feature site for this weeks Website Review was too easy. Moe Arora, the author of makingthemogul.com, is just that, a mogul in the making and what I call an entrepreneur. His industry of choice is the music biz where his work ranges from project management, marketing, and personal branding.  Moe is the CEO/founder of an entertainment and lifestyle firm, Rockstar Branded. Moe wears many hats at Rockstar Branded, but he mostly oversees the marketing and operational affairs of the business.

Website Review: Making the Mogul

Making the Mogul is a site dedicated to Moe’s personal journey and a great testament to his work ethic. Though the site is a personal one, Moe still features interviews with other music business professionals, managers, CEOs, and a&r reps. The majority of the content posted on the site serves for great advice for any professional. Moe blogs about building personal relationships, social networking, blogging as a tool and key aspects of business in music. For example, two of the sites most recent post go inside the freshman rapper, Drake’s new record deal and the actual worth of a record deal.

Moe serves as a great example for how to conduct yourself in any line of business. I recommend this site, so that young professionals can take a good look at an individual who embodies a strong work ethic, knowledge of his field, and an exemplary level of professionalism. Website Review: bradleywill.com

I love to search the web and discover new websites and blogs that offer great informative resources to the public. So I am going to feature a Website Review section on the blog to share my opinion on all the great sites I find. I am really a fan of professionals who offer their advice based on their own personal experiences. For this reason, the first site I will feature is http://www.bradleywill.com/.

Bradley Will is an entrepreneur specializing in developing social media strategies. Bradley uses his personal knowledge and experiences to empower young entrepreneurs through his blog. His blog features quality content on a consistent basis. Bradley posts articles to his blog as many as five times a week offering his audience information on networking, blogging, entrepreneurship, personal development, and a range of other topics. Bradley features video blogging on his site as well, which adds to the personal, more one on one feel of the blog.

What I enjoy most about the blog is that Bradley serves as a great coach for aspiring entrepreneurs by offering valuable advice. For example, Bradley featured a great video post on protecting your company’s brand in one his June articles. He is also a dedicated blogger because he takes the time to reply to audience members who leave comments on his posts, a great quality in a blogger.
